DANCE EDUCATOR

Camila Cardona is a New York City–based dance educator, choreographer, and performer with over 10 years of professional experience across film, television, and international stages. A Steps on Broadway faculty member since 2025, she teaches Theatre Fusion and Hip-Hop, while also serving as a commercial theatre and heels educator at Ripley-Grier and Pearl Studios NYC. Her teaching experience spans both youth and professional training, including bilingual instruction, with previous faculty roles at Iconos Kids NYC and The Co-Op School in Brooklyn.

Camila’s classes integrate theatre jazz, hip-hop, heels foundations, and musical theatre, drawing directly from her work as an associate and assistant choreographer on productions such as Guys and Dolls (Arkansas Repertory Theatre), and film projects at Tyler Perry Studios. The class is grounded in strong technique, musicality, and performance quality, her approach centers on character, interpretation, and storytelling, building artistic confidence while bridging stage, screen, and commercial performance for dancers at all levels
